He is survived by son Bruce (Elaine) Haskell and grandsons, Luke and Conner Haskell, all of Brewster, New York son Brian (Monika) Haskell, granddaughters Julie Haskell and son Evan Haskell and Katie (Brett) Kalinowski, all of Medina daughter Barbara (Mark) Kurz, granddaughters Nellie and Olivia Kurz of Falmouth, Massachusetts. Haskell leaves behind many who will miss him greatly. He was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Jo (nee Moseley) Haskell whom he married on Jin Louisville, Kentucky. He retired to Niceville, FL in 1983 before moving to Medina in 1994. He moved with his wife and three children to Zürich, Switzerland, and later to São Paulo, Brazil, as well as to assignments in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Buffalo, New York Midland, Michigan Scituate, Massachusetts and lastly in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Haskell became an international sales manager for the Dow Chemical Company in 1953. He graduated from the University of Washington – Seattle in 1953, with a degree in chemistry. Haskell served in the US Merchant Marines from 1943 – 46, serving in the Atlantic and Mediterranean War Zones, including the Murmansk Run. He returned to the United States to complete high school in West Plains, Missouri. He was born on Novemin Columbia, Missouri, but spent his childhood until the age of 15 in Kuling and Wuhu, China, where his parents, Walter and Ethel Haskell, ran a school for children of missionaries. Winston Haskell, 83, passed away on January 10, 2009, at his home in Medina.
